Croydon Caribbean Credit Union Ltd, founded in 1967, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and managed by its members. Members through regular savings, build a pool of funds, providing them access to low-cost, affordable loans. Instead of profits going to outside shareholders, they are returned to members through lower interest on loans, dividend payments on savings and free life savings and loan protection insurance coverage.
