The Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL) is the main trade association for credit unions in Britain.

ABCUL is credit unions; it is a co-operative of co-operatives, created by credit unions from across England, Scotland and Wales who recognise the value of a strong, credible trade body that can represent the credit union movement with authority.

The majority of Britain’s credit unions choose to affiliate to ABCUL, and it is the largest supplier of information, training and advocacy for the movement.
